Kaspersky reveals insights on P2E, charity scams, and voice deep fakes, recommends defence mechanisms against these cyber vulnerabilities
Kaspersky revealed insights from the Kaspersky Security Bulletin (KSB), company’s team of cybersecurity experts, presenting detailed predictions on cyber threats consumers may face in the coming year. KSP highlighted a diverse array of challenges where cybercriminals are increasingly leveraging advanced technologies like charity scams, P2E, and voice deepfakes.
“In our 2024 consumer threat predictions, we provide insights into potential cyber risks. The world of scams is dynamic, with fraudsters continually devising new schemes. Stay vigilant, as new tactics may emerge, and maintaining a proactive stance remains your strongest defense against these evolving threats,” added Anna Larkina, security and privacy expert at Kaspersky.
Furthermore, the cybersecurity experts at Kaspersky threw some light on the role of VPNs as a defense mechanism against these cyber vulnerabilities.
