Exclusive partnership supports Beyon Cyber’s vision to transform cyber defence capabilities across the region

Beyon Cyber has signed an exclusive partnership with Expel during the Arab International Cybersecurity Summit (AICS), which took place at Exhibition World Bahrain. The partnership will enable Beyon Cyber to provide managed detection and response (MDR) services in the region, including the UAE, Saudi Arabia, and the Kingdom of Bahrain. The partnership was signed by Beyon Cyber’s CEO, Dr Shaikh Khalid bin Daij Al Khalifa and Expel’s General Manager & VP, International Business, Chris Waynforth.

Expel is a security operations provider that offers MDR, remediation, phishing support, and threat hunting services. Through the partnership, Beyon Cyber will support its enterprise customers with getting cyber threat detection and response capabilities within days instead of months taken by traditional security services providers.

Commenting on the partnership, Beyon Cyber’s CEO, Dr. Shaikh Khalid bin Daij Al Khalifa stated, “As 50 per cent of organisations world-wide are expected to adopt MDR services by 2025, it is clear that our region needs a world class MDR services provider.  We’re delighted to bring Expel to the region and look forward to rolling out their globally-recognised solutions for companies, helping them to minimise business risks related to the constant threat of cyber-attacks.”

“Partnerships with leading companies such as Expel put us at the forefront of cyber security services provisioning and supports our aspirations to change the security landscape in the region. We are committed to helping build new and advanced cyber security solutions that deliver unparalleled value to our clients,” Dr Shaikh Khalid added.

Expel General Manager & VP, International Business, Chris Waynforth said, “Many regional organisations have invested in several security tools. Our ‘bring-your-own-technology’ approach and API integrations with more than 85 security tools allow businesses to implement MDR capabilities within hours. Businesses can choose to protect everything – cloud, on-prem, or hybrid infrastructures, and SaaS apps – or just what they need. This flexible and transparent approach includes XDR (extended detection and response) capabilities that gives security teams full visibility across their security and business applications to help protect what matters most.”

Beyon Cyber, a subsidiary of Batelco, is focused on offering advanced end-to-end cyber-security solutions, with managed services and advisory to organisations across Bahrain and the region.
