Coursera Inc., an online learning platform, announced that it is partnering with Delta University for Science and Technology to provide students with job-relevant, multi-disciplinary online learning and equip them with the necessary skills for in-demand jobs through the Coursera platform.
Becoming the first private university in Egypt to fully integrate Coursera for Campus into its curriculum to create opportunities and improve the employability of graduates, this partnership will enable the university’s students to have unlimited enrolments to Coursera’s catalogue and access to world-class courses taught by over 275 leading university and industry partners, including Imperial College London, École Polytechnique, IBM, and Microsoft, among other global partners.
Furthermore, students will benefit from a world-class online, mobile, and hands-on learning experience while earning job-relevant credentials for courses they complete. The Coursera catalogue currently includes 5,200+ courses, 3,300+ guided projects, 650+ specialisations, and 115+ certificates.

With Coursera for Campus, Delta University for Science and Technology will:
- Receive powerful analytics tools to enable faculty to track learners and directly collect data on skills acquisition across the entire university.
- Compare their learner data to other partners across the Coursera platform by region and industry segment to identify where skills gaps are emerging and where Delta University for Science and Technology students excel.
- Curate content and learning pathways to ensure students are introduced to courses optimised for their career requirements.
Coursera supports the skill development of more than 1.9 million learners in Egypt and more than 6.2 million across MENA. This total includes over 320,000 new registered Coursera learners across the region in the second quarter (2Q) of 2022.
