The six-day programme MEP-A will kick off on 20 October, with on-campus lectures, site visits, and cultural and networking activities from 21 to 25 October 2024. Thirty local and international executives are encouraged to apply for Mohamed bin Zayed University of Artificial Intelligence (MBZUAI)’s targeted week-long executive programme, which will be held in Abu Dhabi in October.
Instructors include MBZUAI’s President and University Professor, Eric Xing; Michael Jordan; Pehong Chen, Distinguished Professor in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences at UC Berkeley; Sami Haddadin, Vice President for Research and Professor of Robotics at MBZUAI; and renowned Instructors from top international institutions and leaders from national entities.
The curriculum will cover the UAE’s AI strategy, AI fundamentals, and industry case studies ranging from robotics to manufacturing and energy. Participants will also have the opportunity to get first-hand experience on how UAE-based entities are adopting AI and advanced technologies through site visits and networking events.
“MEP-A has maintained its academic rigour and offers local and international executives, startup founders and co-founders, top management from publicly traded companies and multinational corporations, and international foundation directors the opportunity to access the greatest global minds in artificial intelligence right here in Abu Dhabi,” MBZUAI’s Vice President of Public Affairs and Alumni Relations, Sultan Al Hajji, said.
The programme will kick off with an orientation day on 20 October. On-campus lectures, site visits, and cultural and networking activities will be held from 21 to 25 October 2024.
“In return for their minimal time commitment, participants will graduate with knowledge of the best practices in AI strategy and implementation and how to use the power of AI responsibly. The program will conclude with business integration – enabling participants to apply their knowledge to their organisations directly – and networking opportunities with past MEP alumni,” Saji added.
