Moro Hub, the digital arm of the Dubai Electricity and Water Authority (DEWA), has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with RealNetworks to complement its Integrated Physical Security Platform with facial recognition (FR) technology.
The MoU establishes a framework to integrate RealNetworks’ SAFR deep-learning engine with Moro Hub’s Integrated Physical Security Platform (IPSP) in order to deliver accurate, fast, unbiased face recognition (FR) and additional computer vision features. Through this collaboration, Moro Hub aims to offer a holistic Integrated Physical Security Platform and accelerate an efficient and secured integrated business environment for its clients.

The partnership will also set new standards in the market by providing the highest levels of FR accuracy for automated surveillance, providing access control and generating analytics while ensuring maximum flexibility and efficiency on deployment, thereby ensuring safe cities. SAFR, combined with the next generation hosting capabilities of Moro Hub, will provide flexibility and reduce dependency on bandwidth and compute resources.
