OffSec will provide companies and their employees based in Bahrain with a varied suite of cybersecurity programs

NGN International, the security services provider and systems integrator, has welcomed the partnership agreed upon between Offensive Security (“OffSec”) and its own NGN Training Centre. OffSec will provide companies and employees in Bahrain with various cybersecurity programs, including specialised courses, subscriptions and virtual labs.

NGN International, a longstanding proponent of cybersecurity, consistently works to identify new partners that the organisation can team up with in order to circumvent and counteract threats to cybersecurity. As a result of the partnership between OffSec and NGN’s Training Center, Bahraini professionals undertaking training will greatly develop their knowledge of the different iterations of cyberattacks. It has long been understood that cybercrime is one of the fastest-growing forms of crime. Therefore, Bahrain’s professional, highly digitised labour market must educate people on how to respond to these threats.

OffSec is an internationally renowned provider of workforce development, training and education for professionals working in the cybersecurity space. OffSec’s unique offering centres upon practical, hands-on training while the company’s certification programs, virtual labs and open-source projects provide exponents with the highly desired cybersecurity skills needed to attain jobs, advance their careers and ensure the protection of their organisations. Offensive Security is committed to funding and growing Kali Linux, the leading operating system for penetration testing, ethical hacking and network security assessments.

Safeer Azam, OffSec’s Partner Manager MEA & South Asia, said, “We are excited to partner with NGN Training Center, allowing us to provide organisations and professionals in Bahrain with localised support in accessing OffSec’s full suite of course offerings, subscriptions and labs. Together we will further OffSec’s vision by inspiring the ‘Try Harder’ mindset and also be working to bring live training of our world-renowned cybersecurity courses to local government and enterprise in the region.”

Ms Zainab Assiri, Director of the NGN Training Centre, noted her happiness at the partnership saying, “NGN International is very pleased to have agreed this partnership with Offensive Security and we have high hopes for their training and courses which are unparalleled in terms of quality and content. With cybersecurity threats at an all-time high, training IT security professionals on how to react to threats is incredibly important. NGN International and OffSec are two companies dedicated to helping organisations navigate the increasingly complex world of cybersecurity and raising the understanding of the dangers of the different forms of cybercrime. By reducing the skills gap through hands-on training and continuous education, we will ensure that companies from Bahrain and the region are able to protect their business interests from cyberthreats.”
