Technology distributor Redington has partnered with Zoho, a global software company, to expand access to Zoho’s cloud-based business solutions in emerging markets.

As per the terms of the agreement, the partnership extends to primary countries in the continent including Kenya, Ethiopia, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Angola, Nigeria, Ghana, Senegal, Ivory Coast, and Cameroon.
Nehal Sharma, Vice President of Cloud Solutions at Redington MEA, described the partnership as a “game-changer” for African businesses. She emphasised that Zoho’s tools, like the Zoho Workplace for enterprise collaboration, Bigin CRM for small businesses, and ZeptoMail for reliable transactional email, will help companies across the continent become more competitive. “This collaboration unlocks a new era of productivity and growth for the African continent,” Sharma said.
Viswanath Pallasena, CEO of Redington MEA, highlighted the importance of this collaboration in helping businesses not only compete but thrive on the global stage. He further said that the partnership with Zoho marks a significant milestone in Redington’s journey.

On his part, Bishan Singh, Director of Zoho’s Global Partner Program, explained that the company is committed to the region. “Africa is a critical market for Zoho,and we have been expanding our footprint in the region by establishing offices, hiring locally, integrating our solutions with local payment gateways, and localising our offerings. We even offer our products at local pricing in several African countries.” Singh said.
Singh believes that by teaming up with Redington, Zoho can make its 55+ cloud-based business products more accessible to African businesses, helping them meet their digital transformation needs. “Together, with Redington, which has a vast network and local expertise, we hope to help the businesses in the region with their digital transformation needs.” Singh stated.
