Saudi Arabia’s latest initiative, the ‘Digital Future Readiness Programme,’ seeks to enhance the AI skills of over 7,000 nationals, ensuring a competitive edge on the global stage through targeted training and partnerships with educational institutions.
The Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, in collaboration with the Human Capacity Development Programme (HCDP), has introduced the “Digital Future Readiness Programme,” a strategic initiative designed to develop and enhance national expertise in generative artificial intelligence.
Building on the success of the programme’s pilot phase, conducted in partnership with Noon Education Company, the full-scale launch represents a significant advancement in equipping Saudi nationals with 21st-century skills, enabling them to compete globally, particularly in the swiftly advancing AI sector.
At the launch, several agreements were signed between Noon Education Company, various educational institutions, and the Insan Association to support student training and preparation and ensure the ongoing development of digital capabilities across the Kingdom.
The programme aims to benefit over 7,000 national professionals, foster a culture of innovation, and promote the use of AI tools to create a more prosperous digital future.
The launch event was attended by the Deputy Minister of Communications, Eng. Haitham Al-Ohali, the Undersecretary of the Ministry for Future Capabilities and Jobs, Ibrahim Al-Nasser, and the CEO of the Human Capability Development Programme, Eng. Anas Al-Mudaifer.
The event underscored the importance of generative artificial intelligence skills, their application, and their role in developing national digital capabilities. It also discussed promoting the use of AI tools to enhance innovation and productivity.
