USA and Saudi sign MOU for cybersecurity cooperation to safeguard their cyberspace

During U.S. President Joe Biden’s visit recently to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the Saudi National Cybersecurity Authority (NCA) signed a Memorandum of Understanding for Cybersecurity Cooperation with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS), Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) as per Saud Press Agency Post.

The MOU will promote cooperation in cybersecurity to safeguard cyberspace and the vital interest of both countries. The MOU is a continuation of the recent collaboration between KSA and the U.S.

The MOU focuses on several areas, such as sharing cyber threats information between countries and exchanging best practices and experiences.

As per the MOU, both parties recognise the importance of collective efforts to further enhance their leading position internationally by strengthening integration and establishing cooperation mechanisms to achieve safe and reliable cyberspace that enables growth and prosperity.
