VIDIZMO offers an AI-based tool with a multitude of features to quickly redact information from video and audio files
VIDIZMO has released the second version of its AI-based audio and video redaction tool, which has been completely redesigned to offer much more detail and flexibility. This tool is now available separately or as part of the other two products: its enterprise video platform or digital evidence management system. It can be purchased as SaaS or deployed in the customer’s own data center of choice (on-premise or cloud).
The AI-based redaction tool can help users conceal confidential information in just a few clicks (within minutes) without requiring any specialised video editing expertise. It is accessible on all devices and browsers without any additional installation requirements.
VIDIZMO’s tool uses AI to automatically track elements in a video (such as the face of a dancing person) and helps save a considerable amount of time. However, the accuracy of tracking depends on the quality of the video. This means that the tracking will work accurately most of the time, unless the video is too dark or has random haphazard movements. The tool also allows users to redact elements and fix imperfections manually to solve this problem. Redacted components can be labelled in the interface after detection or redaction. This helps improve video search such that users will be able to narrow down to relevant videos amongst thousands by typing in the name of a person.

VIDIZMO’s redaction is available as a standalone tool. It is also available as an add-on with VIDIZMO’s existing products for end-to-end secure management of video files. The company also offers an enterprise video platform (EnterpriseTube), a YouTube-like platform that allows organisations to manage video content securely. It will enable users in an organisation to upload and share video content, whether they be recorded meetings, training videos, corporate communication videos etc. The add-on can help conveniently redact PII before publishing or sharing these videos ahead.
