Tatweer Misr and Huawei Technologies have joined forces to build sustainable and smart technological software solutions for Tatweer Misr’s projects. The partnership is an important strategic agreement between Tatweer Misr and Huawei to launch fully-connected, sustainable smart cities in Egypt.

Sustainable cities and technological solutions would serve as a win-win situation for both developers and residents as this would result in efficiency in energy consumption and reduce 30 per cent costs in operations and maintenance.

Huawei technologies will provide a variety of IoT-enabled software products and services and a monitoring platform that will allow Tatweer Misr to access data-driven analytics to make smart and sustainable decisions in streetlight, water, electricity, security and surveillance, air quality, and smart irrigation system management.
